Having pioneered the natural gas industry in the Philippines, the Malampaya Power Project exemplifies a success story in terms of clean energy production in the country. It remains to significantly contribute to meeting the Philippines' energy requirements, powering about 20% of its energy demand, as well as advancing economic development, with USD 12 billion in total revenues generated since the start of its commercial operations in 2001.
