In 2015, the Philippines, together with other United Nations member states, expressed its commitment to attaining the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their corresponding targets by 2030. While significant strides have been made, a lot of pressing work still needs to be done. Achieving the SDGs requires a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach. With this in mind, the ECCP continues to be deeply involved in sustainability-related advocacies, strengthening its ties with the Philippine government and key stakeholders. The Chamber also seeks to further align its priorities with the SDGs and the Philippine Development Plan.
In this online session, the ECCP invited the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Philippines to its webinar entitled, "Paving the Road Ahead: SDGs and the Philippines". This is to share UNDP's views and updates on where the Philippines stands with respect to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will also showcase the potential areas of collaboration of UNDP with the private sector, particularly with the ECCP members and its vast network. Moreover, this session will feature the soft launch of the ECCP's first-ever 2021 Europa Awards and Call for Nominations.
In line with the ECCP's continued efforts to serve you better, we invite you to participate in our short survey upon registration regarding the ECCP's possible conduct of physical events in 2021/2022. Rest assured that the Chamber will take into careful consideration all IATF protocols to ensure the safety of everyone.
As always, your feedback matters to us. Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you soon.
