Part 1: SUSTAINING FUEL EFFICIENCY OF TRANSPORT FLEET THROUGH PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF GASOLINE AND DIESEL ENGINES
Black Smoke and Fuel Economy - to provide audience with factual representation of cost-benefit analysis of a well maintained diesel vehicle
Fuel Efficient and Cleaner Automotive Technologies - to give audience some overview on innovations in Automotive Technology. This will also provide them a comparative idea between old and new systems (with emphasis on new vehicle features e.g. CRDI, GDI and Vehicle Emission Improvement).
What to Look for in a Reliable Automotive Workshop - to provide the audience some essential points on how to identify eligible Vehicle Service Workshops for the company's maintenance and repair requirements.
Benefits of Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) - to create awareness on the potential benefits when following the specified PMS schedule and corresponding coverage.
Part 2: UNITED NATIONS ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME (UNEP) CLEAN FLEET MANAGEMENT TOOLKIT WORKSHOP
This workshop is designed to provide knowledge on how to measure and subsequently reduce emissions from their vehicle fleets. It will familiarize participants with the UNEP Clean Fleet Management Toolkit, which they can use to assess the environmental impacts of their vehicle fleet and select, as well as weigh the potentials of different clean fleet management measures that they can implement. The workshop shall give special emphasis on low-cost and easy-to-implement measures such as eco-driving and vehicle maintenance.
