The Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Revenue Regulations No. 19-2020 which prescribes the submission of the new BIR Form No. 1709 also known as the Information Return on Related Party Transactions. The new reportorial requirement is intended to effectively implement Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) 24, Related Party Disclosures, to ensure that related party transactions are properly disclosed and conducted at arm's length.

At the ECCP Webinar on Transfer Pricing: New BIR Requirements for Taxpayers with Related Party Transactions on 14 December, we will be joined by Transfer Pricing Partner Atty. Deonah L.
