Philippine Energy Transition: A Race Through Economic Disruption, Technology Shifts and Innovation

The energy sector plays a crucial role in the promotion of sustainability alongside socio-economic development in the Philippines. Indeed, measures to meet the Philippines' current and future energy demands, as well as promote cleaner energy options require collaborative efforts from all energy stakeholders.

In this context, the Philippine Energy Independence Council (PEIC), together with the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), is organizing the forum "Philippine Energy Transition: A Race Through Economic Disruption, Technology Shifts and Innovation" on 21 January 2021, at 9:30am to 4:00pm,via Zoom. This event will cover discussions on initiatives and policies in addressing energy reserve issues, as well as promoting indigenous energy and energy independence, towards ensuring energy security, providing more opportunities for and improving the lives for the Filipino people, as well as overall economic progress.
