The ASEAN-EU Business Summit is back for its 8th edition, slated to be held in Singapore on 19 November 2020. This year's edition follows on from a highly successful run in Thailand 2019 during their ASEAN Chairmanship, graced by ASEAN Ministers, Ambassadors and prominent business leaders who spoke at the event attended by high-level delegates.
This year's edition of Business Summit is slightly different from the previous ones with the COVID-19 pandemic posing challenges, bringing about new 'norms' and acceleration on the digitalisation front at a global level. Embracing technology, and keeping in line with social distancing measures, for the first time we will be conducting the Summit through a hybrid virtual/physical model, to provide guests the option of attending the event virtually.
The ASEAN-EU Business Summit was founded in 2011 in Indonesia and has since developed to an established meeting point in ASEAN with several hundred delegates attending each event. The Summit is designed to be a platform for business leaders, thought-leaders and policy makers to interact and debate the key business and trade issues of the day.
