BCA forecasts construction demand for Singapore to reach between €17.9 billion and €22.5 billion per year for 2020 and 2021 and between €18.5 billion and €23.2 billion per year for 2022 and 2023.
On the other hand, the Asia Development Bank forecasted that an annual infrastructural spending of €1.52 billion is needed until 2030 to maintain Philippines’ economic progress as it’s growth is currently hindered by lacklustre infrastructures.
With this, the government can explore innovative solutions provided by the EU companies to assist in meeting the construction demand for both Singapore and Philippines.
The EU Business Avenues in South East Asia programme will bring European companies to participate on a virtual business mission from 4 – 8 November 2020 as part of PHILCONSTRUCT 2020, to explore partnership opportunities.
