Mr. Joseph Romero, President of Centre Medicale Internationale (CMI), has an extensive international and local experience in business development, strategic planning and operations finance in the healthcare, real estate and retail industries. He is a Certified Team Psychological Safety Facilitator Team.As.One. (Thailand) and was trained in Ontological Coaching and Mastery Newfield Asia (Singapore). He took his Masters in Business Administration in Competitive & Organizational Strategy at the University of Rochester, New York and his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines.


Dr. Aileen Espina
Centre Medicale Internationale

Dr. Aileen Espina sits on the Advisory Board of Centre Medicale Internationale. She specializes in Family Medicine and received her MS in Public Health from the University of the Philippines. She was the Chief of Medical Professional Staff for the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center, the last standing hospital in Tacloban after Typhoon Haiyan hit the area in 2013. She was also the chief architect of EVRMC’s Build Back Better initiative.

Dr. Espina serves as a consultant on disaster medicine to several international organizations, including CARE International and the World Health Organization. She is globally recognized as an expert on patient-centered, family-focused, and community-oriented approach to care. She currently sits as an Executive of the Asia-Pacific Regional Council of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) and chairs the WONCA Working Party for Women in Family Medicine.
