It disrupts every aspect of their daily lives, especially their education. Also, with their parents’ livelihoods curtailed by the pandemic, children are not only vulnerable to hunger, but also exposed to potential abuse at home.
How can we unite for children and protect them against the impact of the pandemic? We can discuss our options through an online conversation, “Protecting a Generation of Filipino Children: A Call to Action” on August 20, 2020, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. [Philippine time].
The conference will cover the global and national impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children. It will also tackle key actions to address the range of emerging issues, such as the children’s access to resources for home learning.
