The World Health Organization, on 11 March 2020, declared the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a pandemic. Affecting at least 190,000 people in more than 150 countries, this international health crisis challenges the health, geopolitical, and economic systems of countries all over the world. With at least 180 confirmed cases and 12 deaths, the Philippines is no exemption to these consequences. The recent declaration of an Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon impedes daily operations in various sectors, as well as affects access to essential services and goods. The setbacks brought about by this scenario calls for increased stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
It is in this context that the ECCP is organizing a Special COVID-19 Webinar on Organizational Health Education and Crisis Management. Join us on 26 March 2020 as we hear from health experts, the latest international and local updates on COVID-19, as well as discussions on workplace health management, and what companies can do to contribute and help manage this health crisis.
