Joomla! is an open source Content Management System (CMS). Joomla is considered to be the world’s most popular open source web development and content management tool. This course is designed to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of Joomla 3.6.x, to enable the participants in building and maintaining dynamic web sites.
At the end of this course, participants must have created two (2) websites without any programming. Being a CMS, Joomla enables its users/creators to do this non-programming approach in creating a dynamic website due to the easy and simple manner of constructing content for any kind of website.
Joomla accounts for almost 6% of all websites created worldwide, and is the leading CMS application preferred by non-techie users as well as by experienced users. It’s wealth of extensions ranges from restaurants, museums, accounting, government, tourism, hotel management, retail and real-estate websites, to name a few.
