Energy Smart Philippines (ESPhil), the country’s premier event on Energy takes on its 2nd year as a consolidated event of Conferences and Exhibition on energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean technologies under one roof.
The Organizers, ECCP and FMI have widened the original scope of the previous Philippine Energy Efficiency Forum and the Renewable Energy Forum to cover a broader range of energy solutions for commercial, industrial and public sectors. These Forums will provide technical briefings under three pillars:
- Philippine Energy Efficiency Forum (PEEF): Organized in 2010, the 1st Philippine Energy Forum gathered hundreds of leaders and delegates who came together for what has become the most influential gathering of energy efficiency professionals in the Philippines. The 6th PEEF will focus on presenting the latest and most innovative technologies in the field of energy efficiency.
- Philippine Renewable Energy Forum (PREF): will discuss the latest technology trends in the Renewable Energy field. Discussions will cover the whole range of RE Technologies namely solar. Hydro, wind and biomass. As a co-located event, The Philippine Solar Power Alliance is organizing the Philippine Solar Summit on the second day of ESPhil2015. Discussion will cover the current issues and updates in the RE market and policy environment.
- Philippine Clean Technology Forum (PCTF): The PCTF highlights the recent developments in clean technologies and will discuss issues and best practices related to the effective development of clean technology. Discussions will focus on natural gas, green mobility and waste to energy.
OBJECTIVES
ESPhil, aims to promote the advancement of solutions and initiatives on energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean technology; increase awareness among stakeholders on energy issues and business opportunities in the country; and provide networking as well as B2B platforms for forging partnerships & business cooperation among stakeholders.
Specifically ESPhil 2015, will
- convene key decision makers, both government and business leaders from the energy, commercial and industrial sectors to discuss how private sector and government can work together to ensure energy security, expand energy access, promote investment and low-carbon future; and
- promote the creation of strategic alliances among business, government, international donor organizations, civil society and other public interest groups in the Philippines in setting a common agenda on energy security and low carbon future through clean energy technologies; and
- provide a platform for showcasing innovative technologies on energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean technology;

Around 300 delegates are expected to attend the event and 3,000 visitors will be at the exhibition, representing a wider audience covering:
