The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and the EU-ASEAN Business Council are jointly organising the annual European-Philippine Business Dialogue with the theme, Taking the Philippines Centrestage, happening on May 6, 2024 at the Raffles & Fairmont Hotel Makati.
Over the years, the Philippines' image as a competitive investment destination has improved with the country being cited as one of the bright spots in Asia, resulting in an increase in interest from foreign investors. The EPBD has been the leading event for connecting the European business sector and the Philippine government, serving as a platform to enhance understanding on a range of policy issues.
Now on its eleventh run, this year's EPBD is bringing together key government officials, business leaders, and experts to take a look at the country's state of economic health. With the imminent recommencement of the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the EU and the Philippines, this event would help to further advance the political and economic relationship between the two as well as with the broader ASEAN region.
The EPBD will be followed by a European Investors' Night dinner shortly after the plenary session from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
