In celebration of Women's Month this year, the European Chamber of Commerce is organizing an event entitled Empower Her: Investing in Women Through Leadership Opportunities happening on 21 March 2024, 2 PM at Spaces, BGC. It is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) #5 of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development which aims to "achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls" as well as the UN Women's theme for 2024: "Invest in women: Accelerate progress".
The event will feature women from different professions and backgrounds who will share their experiences navigating gender-inclusive practices. It will likewise explore how these practices have facilitated their success and growth, or how they have overcome challenges in the absence of such practices.
A networking night will be held after the program from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
