The energy sector has evolved steadily in recent years, with countries increasingly focusing on advancing sustainability and reducing emissions. Long-term security and stability has been identified as the Philippine government's key priority for the energy sector. In line with this, the Department of Energy developed a roadmap toward clean energy and a low-carbon future in the most recent Philippine Energy Plan (PEP) 2020-2040. Additionally, the agency is preparing action plans for priority areas including renewable energy development, energy efficiency and conservation, electric vehicles, and other energy technologies.
In this context and in celebration of the National Energy Consciousness Month, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) invites you to a luncheon meeting with our keynote speaker, Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Raphael Lotilla, together with Senior Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella, as we know more about the agency's priority policies and programs on renewable energy and energy efficiency. This hybrid event is also an avenue for the private sector, including the European-Philippine business community to explore areas of cooperation with the government.
