The COVID-19 pandemic, economic downturns, job loss and all the uncertainties it brings have adversely impacted people's mental health and worsened situations of those suffering from boredom, depression and anxiety. One of the ways we can rebuild and promote mental toughness is by staying alert and active, and one sure fire way to strengthen our immune system is by a combination of diet and exercise.

Given this, the ECCP Women in Business Committee invites you to a week-ender POUND Rock-out Work-out with Coach Carmie De Leon on 26 November, at 4:30 - 5:30 PM, via Zoom. Inspired by the energizing and sweat-dripping fun of neon Ripstix, Coach Carmie will let you experience a full cardio program like never before. What is POUND

POUND workout is combination of yoga and Pilates, you'll burn up to 900+ calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, stronger physique – all while rocking out with your friends and to favorite songs!

POUND Fit offer a vigorous physical workout, it gets your brain and body to work together for an awesome brain boost. It can lower your stress levels, boost the immune system, lower blood pressure, and combat chronic pain, anxiety, and fatigue. Choreography is modifiable and a great workout for people of all ages.

It moves through 4 basic positions, Set, Lunge, Kit and T&A, featuring several variations of the squat. Choreography and intensity can be modified according to one's age, stamina and objective.
