The continuous development of the Philippine Energy Plan (PEP) as launched by the Department of Energy covers a 30-year time scope that aims to aid the country in monitoring and determining energy supply and demand relative to the demands of the Philippines. In line with this, national programs geared towards energy efficiency and demand side management are necessary. These are grounded upon the active technical and financial participation of government agencies involved in energy activities as well as the private sector.
At the Forum on Advancing Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management, on 19 August 2021, we will take a deep dive on the Long-term Power Planning Study for the Philippines and its strategies, processes, and coverage, to ensure a continuous energy supply at affordable prices in lieu of environmental and social considerations. Additionally, this session will speak on the Demand-Side Management Program in particular, covering how opportunities in this area can be maximized, as well as strengthening its implementation in the Philippines.
With the theme "Building a Competitive, Sustainable and Resilient Energy Future," the ECCP 2021 Energy Smart Forum Series aims to provide an avenue for discussions on the collaborative efforts of energy stakeholders to support business continuity and productivity as well as to access emerging business opportunities in the energy sector.
To increase brand visibility, showcase best practices, and promote the shared advocacies of your organization in the Philippine energy sector, sponsorship opportunities are available for all 2021 Energy Smart Forum Series sessions.
