The Kamao ng Kabataan: Paranaque Edition is a live boxing event featuring a vacant WBA Asia South Flyweight Championship between the professional boxers Robert Inggo Paradero and Venz Paras. Overview
Kombat Sports Kalayaan gym is running a sports-based youth development program for kids aged 21 years old and below targeting those that came from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Our goals:
1. Expand our Youth boxing program and recruit more boxers
2. Promote the sports through amateur and pro boxing events
3. Create better communities
4. Boxing Kontra Droga: Campaign efforts should primarily target illicit drugs of first use
5. Engage and inspire the youth in different communities, build a positive and competitive peer group and create a future aspiration that is fun and productive thru boxing
The “Kamao ng Kabataan: Paranaque Edition” is a live boxing event featuring a vacant WBA Asia South Flyweight Championship between the professional boxers Robert Inggo Paradero and Venz Paras. This will also feature (2) non-title bouts and 25 amateur bouts. We will be holding five major events described as follows:
1) Internationally recognized boxing championship: WBA South Championship: Venz Paras vs. Inggo Paradero
2) Local Championship: Philippine Boxing Federation Championship: Kenneth Llover vs. Jonathan Francisco
3) Kamao ng Kabataan: Top 50 Elite Amateur Boxers of the Philippines. This is the biggest amateur event in the Philippines
4) Debut amateur fight of Michael Pacquiao (son of Senator Manny Pacquiao) vs. Nathaniel Ruiz
5) Boxing Concert with performances from various artists
6) Raffle prizes for all viewers during the event
