The ECCP co-organized and supported the 9th Arangkada Philippines Forum with the theme of “Foreign Investment in the Post-Pandemic Philippines”. During the press conference of the three-day virtual conference, the heads of the Joint Foreign Chambers of the Philippines, of which the ECCP is a member of, announced a target to attract USD50 billion in foreign investments and create three million new jobs in the next decade. As such, the group called for additional reforms to improve opportunities for foreign investment in key sectors namely mining, agribusiness, infrastructure, telecommunications, transportation, and education, among others.
