The ECCP participated at a virtual roundtable discussion organized by the EU-ASEAN Business Council with Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for Resilient Government Emergency Communications Alan Silor. ECCP was represented by its ICT-BPM-KPM Committee Chairperson Erik Nielsen who sought updates on the DICT’s proposal for budget increase to fund its programs and initiatives for increased infrastructure investment. The group also received policy updates from DICT including its common tower policy initiative, Digital Cities 2025, and the growing role of ICT in the new normal, among others.
