The ECCP co-signed a JFC position paper on Senate Bill 1844 which seeks to authorize the president to suspend the requirements for permits, licenses, and certifications, and to streamline and expedite the issuance of the same during national emergencies. The group welcomes the intention of the bill to further ease doing business in the country and accelerate economic recovery during national emergencies while at the same time propose amendments to ensure the fulfillment of the bill's objectives.
