The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) Davao, in partnership with Davao Light and Power Co., Inc (DLPC), successfully organized the Coffee Mornings entitled KuryenTalks: Power 101 last 04 December 2019 at Davao Light & Power Co. Office, C. Bangoy St., Davao City.
DLPC as a power service provider, the Assistant Vice President of DLPC Mr. Rossano C. Luga, thoroughly discussed and educated the members of the ECCP-Southern Mindanao Business Council about the power industry, composition of electric bill, causes of scheduled or planned power interruptions and their CSR projects. Meanwhile, Engr. Charlo Deniega of DLPC highlighted more about energy conservation and energy efficiency.
KuryenTalks: Power 101 was a highly instructive and relevant topic not only to the members of the council but also to the consumers in Davao City. Mr. Antonio Peralta, ECCP-SMBC Chairman, shared his insights that this kind of topic is helpful to the consumers in understanding the electric bill and power industry as a whole.
On the other hand, the President and COO of DLPC Mr. Rodger S. Velasco affirmed that the power rate in the city is cheaper compared to the other cities in Mindanao.
